Social Teamwork
Social Teamwork is the Bike Scouts' term for our practice of the Filipino culture of "Bayanihan," which can be translated simply to "people helping each other in their own community solve local challenges and problems."

Bayanihan is at the heart of everything that the Bike Scouts community does, from resilience-building to disaster response, environmental conservation and protection, and even when we just go out for a ride on our bicycles - we always strive to embody the spirit of Bayanihan.
Bayanihan is what makes it possible for the Bike Scouts community to serve as a network of support for each other, whether it's for daily challenges in our own communities or for large-scale disaster response work - we do what we can with whatever we have for each other because it's what makes us resilient.
Being a part of Bike Scouts is to take on a sense of responsibility for others and for everything else on the planet. It's not an obligation, it's a recognition that what we do for others around us who need our presence or our help is a reflection of what we are as human beings.
